Smaller is the point.
Why we built Cervito, who it’s for, and what we’re trying to avoid becoming.
Who you will be talking to
Attila Szocz, founder. Before Cervito he spent his career in international hotel management, where service is a person before it is anything else. The concierge who knows the guest. The reception team in a line-up before the shift, going through the day, the targets, the promotion that only moves if someone on the floor moves it. He ran that floor.
Then he moved into SaaS, and then into building for e-commerce, where every one of those targets was already in place. Traffic, conversion, the number a team answers to.
Everything made the move online except the person on the floor.
A store can have real traffic, a full catalog, a promotion running, and nobody in it. That is the part of e-commerce he found cold, and it is why Cervito exists. Cervito is that floor rebuilt for an online store: an associate with a name, briefed before her shift, coached like someone new, measured like a professional. The associate, the shift, the coaching notes: those are not marketing words. They are the job he used to run.
He owns product and sales, so the 30-minute demo every page on this site offers is a call with him personally.
Why we built Cervito
Cervito started as a frustration with the gap between what AI can do for an online store and what the AI tools out there actually do. The capable stuff was buried in enterprise suites. The affordable stuff was a chat widget that pattern-matched on five keywords and called itself an assistant.
The middle was empty. So we built it.
What we’re trying to build
A product that behaves like a knowledgeable in-store associate, someone who has read every spec sheet, remembers every policy, and actually says I don’t know when they don’t, instead of inventing an answer that sounds confident. That last part is the whole game.
Every response Cervito gives is grounded in the merchant’s real catalog, real policies, real coaching notes.
- Catalog
A product that doesn’t exist cannot be recommended.
- Policies
A return policy that hasn’t been configured cannot be invented.
- Stock
A SKU that’s out of stock cannot be surfaced as available.
We enforce these as code, not as prompt instructions.
Who Cervito is for
Independent merchants who are big enough to need an associate and small enough that hiring one isn’t the answer.
If you have more visitors than your team can greet by hand and a catalog worth knowing cold, you’re in the band where Cervito earns its keep.
What we’re avoiding
We’ve spent enough time inside SaaS products to know how this ends: feature creep, per-seat pricing that triples on renewal, a mascot with a name but no function, and a homepage that says “leverage AI to unlock your store’s potential” without saying what the product actually does. We’ve written all of those things ourselves at other companies.
Not this time.
The product page tells you what it does. The features page lists what we actually build and ship. If it’s not there, we haven’t shipped it.
If we add a new capability, we don’t gate it behind a higher tier; we ship it to everyone.
If we discover a bug, we write a failing test before we write the fix.
If you uninstall, we don’t try to retain you with a discount email.
What’s next
More language support. Deeper analytics on which conversation patterns predict revenue. The founding-agency program is open now, and the cohort is deliberately small. We post what we ship, and what we choose not to, on the blog.
If any of this resonates, the fastest way to evaluate Cervito is a 30-minute demo with the founder: book a Google Meet call and we’ll open Sarah on your own catalog. If it’s a fit, we onboard you personally, usually live within 24 hours, and you can uninstall in one click if it doesn’t earn its keep.
