The Cervito associate, which a merchant may give a name (for example, "Sarah"), is an artificial-intelligence software assistant, not a human. It is identified as AI in the chat window. It answers using the merchant's product catalog and store information, and it can occasionally be inaccurate. It is not a substitute for professional advice, and its recommendations are automated commercial suggestions made on the store's behalf, not a personal human endorsement.
